I'm Mari — entrepreneur, accounts payable professional, and mom, in an order that changes depending on the day.

Before Virtually 4 You existed, I spent close to twenty years in accounts payable, the kind of work where nothing gets attention until it's already a problem. Late invoices. Missing W-9s. A filing system that made sense to exactly one person, and that person had already left the company. I got very good, very fast, at building order out of things other people had let slide.

At the same time, I was doing the exact same thing at home. Juggling a kid's schedule, a household, a business I was trying to grow, and the mental load that never actually clocks out. Nobody talks about how similar those two jobs are — running a business and running a household — until you're doing both and realize the skill is identical. It's not about doing more. It's about building a system so you're not starting from zero every single time.

Where Virtually 4 You Actually Came From

Not a business plan I wrote on a whiteboard, but years of actually managing real businesses, real deadlines, and real family responsibilities — and getting tired of reinventing the wheel every time something came up. I started building the templates, the checklists, the trackers I wished someone had just handed me. Turns out, a lot of other business owners and moms were looking for the exact same thing.

I'm not interested in pretending this is effortless, because it isn't. I'm currently finishing my MBA, building out a few different ventures at once, and still the one who remembers the permission slip is due Friday. What I am interested in is sharing what actually works — the systems, not the highlight reel.
